After spending the morning working with a client on an new ecommerce store for the clothing sector, I stumbled across an article on the New York Times technology section of their website.

In summary it’s all about taking usability to the edge and then over the edge ! Finding that what we think is a good idea for site visitors ( in this case gender targeting ) can backlash on you.
